This program gives you the knowledge and skills to manage soils, plants, and animals on public and private lands. You’ll study land-use principles such as grazing, intensive agriculture, forestry, and recreational activities, as well as ways to improve productivity and sustainability within an ecosystem management framework. Our BSc in Environmental and Conservation Sciences degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences gives you the opportunity to study and develop real-world solutions for environmental issues such as land conservation, water conservation, biodiversity, and adaptation to climate change. You’ll also have the chance to participate in a three-week field school as well as a project-based capstone course.
