This course, accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), teaches students the main areas of civil engineering, and provides an in-depth perspective on the planning, organisation and construction methods involved in building design. Throughout the course students work in groups on scenarios similar to those they might experience as a professional, using facilities that replicate industry. Students take part in site visits and field trips as part of their course. They also have the opportunity to take part in the Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Challenge, a team design programme and an inter-university competition.
