This three year BSc degree emphasises a mathematical approach to give you an in-depth knowledge of the theory and application of Physics. Our staff have international reputations in research areas from the very small, e.g. quantum theory, to the very large, e.g. galaxy evolution, and use modern teaching methods to inspire you with a love for the subject. You will also develop the skills required for your career in physics or any other professional area. Our teaching quality was highlighted in the 2014 National Student Survey, which showed that 100% of those studying physics at Hull said that staff were good at explaining things. Hull Physics is rated ten out of ten for value-added to our students (Guardian League table 2016). This degree has been designed to have a cutting edge curriculum, and is accredited by the Institute of Physics (IOP).
