Our comprehensive degree programme is designed to provide you with the specialist knowledge and skills needed to excel as a human resource (HR) professional, while also exploring the critical relationship between the organisation, managers and the workforce, and the role of HR.  Throughout the course you'll be supported to think critically, identify and analyse HR and organisational problems and evaluate potential solutions to real-world issues.

In addition you'll develop the ability to critically evaluate HR theories and practices and learn how to apply evidence-based thinking to real-world HR challenges.  You'll also develop practical transferable skills, enhancing your oral and written communication, problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills. Our course is designed to prepare you for a successful career in HR management and training with hands-on projects that mirror real-world scenarios.  You'll graduate with the confidence and competence to make a significant impact in any organisation across the world.

During the course you will be empowered with the expertise, knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in HR.  Our course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) - the professional body for HR and people development, which further ensures the knowledge and skills acquired by our graduates align with the expectations of the profession and the profession map.  You'll also have the opportunity to gain a Level 7 CIPD qualification at the same time as studying your MSc Human Resource Management and Training (subject to paying student membership costs to CIPD).
