The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre is an ideal program for a student with multiple interests in theatre. Our program features small class sizes, allowing for a tailored experience where students can collaborate closely with peers and receive highly individualized, personal attention from our faculty.

We believe the best theatre artists—designers, actors, playwrights and directors—excel by blending exceptional performance skills with a keen understanding of theatre literature and theory. At our institution, you will have the opportunity to study and practice acting, voice, movement, dance, directing, design and stage management, alongside theatre history, literature and criticism.

This comprehensive approach will enable you to analyze complex social issues from multiple perspectives while honing your research, writing, production, oral performance and presentation skills. BA theatre students are also actively involved in productions. Students interested in performing may audition for roles in any of our six annual productions.

Students are also encouraged to participate in various production assignments and tech crews. Regardless of your focus—be it acting, directing, production, education or design—you will have ample opportunity to refine your craft.
