The Master of Health Science (MHSc) in Bioethics program, offered through the Graduate Department of Public Health Sciences and coordinated by the JCB, is a professional master's program for health practitioners, researchers, administrators and professionals. The program aims to provide students with core theoretical foundations of the discipline and core skills to participate in ethics-related activities in contemporary health systems. Students will be exposed to the breadth of ethical issues facing patients, providers, policy-makers and the public in health systems today, locally and globally. The program emphasizes interprofessional exchange and practical experience informed by theory. The MHSc in Bioethics is conducted in a modular format and has no thesis requirement, allowing high achieving professionals to earn a master's degree without interrupting their careers.
