Mechanical engineers work in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, energy, robotics, manufacturing, and biomedical engineering.
At its core, mechanical engineering involves understanding and applying concepts such as:
- Thermodynamics : The study of energy systems, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
- Mechanics : The analysis of forces, motion, and materials.
- Manufacturing : The processes and systems for producing products.
- Design : The creation and optimization of components and systems.
Mechanical engineering plays a crucial role in solving problems related to energy, transportation, healthcare, and the environment.
