The Master's study program Sustainability Management is an interdisciplinary program, the main direction of which is management, but this program also belongs to the Environmental Engineering and Energy Engineering directions. The program focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to managing organizations based on the Sustainable Development Goals. This study program will train specialists who will not only have the management knowledge and abilities needed to manage an organization, will understand the importance of technological solutions in the development of a sustainable environment and the development of a harmonious society, will be able to think creatively and critically, and will be able to maintain their competence through lifelong learning. Knowledge of modern trends in sustainability sciences, environmental and energy engineering field problems, ways to research and decision methods, the impact of environmental pollution on the environment.
Research skills
Ability to determine the need for research, choose methods, tools and plan research, collect data, interpret and, using information technology resources, critically evaluate the results obtained during the organization's sustainability assessment, taking into account the impact on the environment, energy efficiency, security, economic and criteria.
Special skills
Ability to apply various project preparation and complex (financial, social, environmental) efficiency and risk assessment analytical methodologies, as well as information systems for project preparation and assessment, advise companies seeking optimal investment solutions.
Ability to plan, organize and carry out business environment research to make competitive decisions and prepare business development plans to improve the company's activities taking into account the intended goals, the results of analysis, critical thinking and using an innovative and global approach, independently selecting complex technological, organizational and methodological tools in order to analyze the company's sustainable development goals.

During studies, an international study experience is ensured, as guest lectures are taught by experts from Lithuania and other European countries from universities, research centers and companies. This makes it possible to form a more global approach to the field of sustainability development, its application in various fields, possible nuances of management. Masters of sustainability management can successfully work as sustainability managers in various organizations, in top-level state institutions, municipalities, energy and industrial companies, environmental consulting companies and other companies that implement sustainability policies.
