The goal of this study program is to produce skilled informatics engineers with knowledge in modern IT, corporate information systems, graphical systems, and image processing. Additionally, the program aims to equip students with the practical skills necessary to professionally apply the knowledge acquired during their university studies. The curriculum is designed to mold informatics specialists by providing a foundation in fundamental sciences, basic and specialized informatics knowledge, as well as introducing key concepts in economics, law, and business. To cultivate qualified informatics professionals, the program covers essential subjects such as mathematical analysis, probability theory, basic statistics, and discrete mathematics. Additionally, students delve into foundational informatics modules including programming languages and algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, computer networks, program system engineering, artificial intelligence systems, and graphical systems programming.
What will you learn?
During the Information Technologies study programme students will learn to:
Evaluate new theories of informatics;
Apply methods and technologies of systems modulation and projection;
Project and install modern systems of programs;
Recognize, formulate and solve IT problems;
Work with IT;
Consult about IT issues;
Relate IT science with other fields.
Students will be aware of modern modeling, data extraction and operating methods. Moreover, students will be aware of architecture of modern computers and networks, newest technologies of computer systems, development of technological tendencies and principles of projection of systems. What is more, students will learn how responsibly and self-dependently organize work, smoothly, sequentially and clearly express minds. Also, they will learn how to think logically, critically and constructively.
What are the career opportunities after graduation?
After bachelor’s degree of informatics studies it is possible to work in the fields of informatics, engineering, economics and finances. During the studies students gain projection skills of computers and information systems. Therefore, such specialists are necessary not only in companies where computers are vitally important, but also in all organizations where employees generally work with computers. After Information technologies study program students may work as analysts, projectors, programmers, IT consultants and as lecturers in the Universities or colleges, etc.
