Admission Requirements
Admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) programme shall be as per the regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), the Government of Karnataka, and the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
Candidates seeking admission must satisfy the following requirements:
- A B.E./B.Tech. degree in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology from a recognized university.
- A valid GATE score is preferred. Candidates without a GATE score may be considered for admission as per the Government of Karnataka and VTU admission regulations, subject to seat availability.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree (45% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates of Karnataka, as per Government norms).
- Candidates must satisfy the course-wise eligibility prescribed by VTU for the respective M.Tech. specialization.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
