Are you looking for a world-class education in the archaeology of Europe and the adjacent Mediterranean area or Digital Archaeology and Heritage? Then the Master’s degree programme in Archaeology – with its two distinct tracks – may be the programme for you.

The Master’s degree programme in Archaeology will provide you with ample opportunities to explore new methods, current themes and up-to-date knowledge in the archaeology of Europe and the Mediterranean from the Bronze Age until the early Modern Period.

The programme offers two tracks:

Both tracks will equip you with in-depth knowledge and research skills on new methods and current themes in Archaeology. The European and Mediterranean Archaeology track offers specialist courses on Greek and Roman archaeology, and covers themes such as Mobility and Migration, Historical Archaeology, Heritage and how to conduct high-quality research. The Digital Archaeology and Heritage tack covers core digital methods and theory, including 3D visualization and virtual reconstruction, as well as advanced spatial analysis and data science. The small-scale setting of the MA programme provides the ideal setting to combine theory and practice.
