The Agricultural Education and Leadership sequence is designed to advance student’s skills and knowledge in the field of both formal and informal agricultural education. Through a cross-disciplinary approach utilizing courses and resources from a variety of departments and programs on campus, individuals can tailor a program to provide the skills and knowledge to advance the student in their career. Thesis Option: Option I is a 36 hour program that requires a thesis. Students selecting this option will complete the degree core requirements of seven hours, fourteen hours of agriculture electives, nine hours from Curriculum and Instruction, Technology, or other coursework identified by the student’s graduate committee as relevant to the area of interest, and six hours of Master’s Thesis (AGR 499).
