Master's Degree in Planning and Management in Civil Engineering
Traditionally, university degrees related to the construction sector have paid little attention to the area of management. However, for construction technicians it is essential to acquire management knowledge and skills since they are progressively taking on more managerial responsibilities as they gain experience and develop their careers. Therefore, there is a demand for additional training in general construction management throughout the sector, including public developers (government), private developers (real estate and concessions), consulting engineering firms, and construction companies. In addition, there is a need for training in the planning and operation of infrastructure, which is more focused on public developers. It should, however, be borne in mind that much of the future of the sector lies in concession contracts and the maintenance and upkeep of existing infrastructure.
