Interior Design and Environment Architectures is the design and re-design of existing spaces. This course engages with interiors and pushes the boundaries of how we can make and re-make environments whilst considering the experience of the user. This course combines architecture and interior design. It focuses specifically with public and private commercial spaces within an urban environment. On this programme, students will explore the impact of materials, technology, structures and form. Students will study the design and rehabilitation of buildings, the technical aspects of construction, and how architecture relates to the notions of live, work and relax. Interior architecture graduates often go on to design the rehabilitation and extension of existing buildings, or the creation of new built environments.
