Graphic Design is the study of creative and visual problem solving. On this course, students will be encouraged to develop a range of informed approaches to communicate with audiences across varied platforms and media. Working cross-media and examine graphic design together with specialisms such as coding and data visualisation are elements of this course. Individualism and concept driven work are encouraged, showing a clear understanding of design problems as well as visual languages. The course is delivered through a combination of practice and theory-based learning. Graduates work in areas such as typography, editorial design, information design, way-finding, exhibition design, creative coding, and design for promotion. Students will graduate with strong technical expertise and be ready for a broad range of careers in the creative industries.
