About Middlesex University Dubai

Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai is the first overseas campus of the internationally renowned Middlesex University in London. The university, which opened in 2004, has grown into the largest British KHDA higher education institution in Dubai.

The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) granted MDX Dubai its initial institutional licence on 9 January 2025.

The university offers foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a wide variety of subject areas; and was the first university to offer a face-to-face LLB (British Qualifying Law) Degree.

The primary campus is located in Dubai Knowledge Park, occupying high-tech classrooms and study areas across multiple buildings, including the Icon Studio fashion lab, MDX Studios film lab, Sports Performance lab, RoboTechx lab, VRx lab and more.

The second campus is located in Dubai International Academic City, with state-of-the-art facilities, learning labs and independent study spaces. The DIAC campus serves as the MBA Global Study Hub, specifically for MBA students studying on the MBA (Daytime Delivery) programme.

MDX Dubai offers two key intakes in September and January, with additional intakes in April and July for the MBA (Daytime Delivery) programme, and April for the IFP.
