About Middlesex University Dubai

Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai is the first overseas campus of the internationally renowned Middlesex University in London. The university, which opened in 2004, has grown into the largest British KHDA higher education institution in Dubai.

The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) granted MDX Dubai its initial institutional licence on 9 January 2025.

The university offers foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a wide variety of subject areas; and was the first university to offer a face-to-face LLB (British Qualifying Law) Degree.

MDX Dubai is a global university committed to meeting the needs and ambitions of a culturally and internationally diverse range of students, by providing challenging academic programmes underpinned by innovative research, grants and professional practice.

MDX Dubai prepares its students to be professional, skilled individuals fit for the modern world, committed to life-long learning and able to contribute to the communities in which they live and work.

As well as having all the advantages associated with being a British university, Dubai campus students can also benefit from studying in the heart of the city. The primary campus is located in Dubai Knowledge Park, occupying high-tech classrooms and study areas across multiple buildings, including the Icon Studio fashion lab, MDX Studios film lab, Sports Performance lab, RoboTechx lab, VRx lab and more.

The second campus is located in Dubai International Academic City, with state-of-the-art facilities, learning labs and independent study spaces. The DIAC campus serves as the MBA Global Study Hub, specifically for MBA students studying on the MBA (Daytime Delivery) programme.

MDX Dubai offers two key intakes in September and January, with additional intakes in April and July for the MBA (Daytime Delivery) programme, and April for the IFP.
