It is the program concerned with the study of official correspondence in the field of worship, transactions, personal status, and principles in Islamic jurisprudence from the Book, Sunnah, consensus, and analogy.
Program Mission (Bachelor Program - Jurisprudence and its Origins):
Preparing potential specialized in jurisprudence and its principles, who follow the scientific method based on moderation, contribute to solving community issues, and raise the status of Islam locally and internationally in accordance with the e-learning integration criteria.
Educational Program Objectives (Bachelor Program - Jurisprudence and its Origins):
  1. Providing students with a set of Sharia rules deduced from their religious sources.
  2. Empowering the students' jurisprudential ability to find solutions of new issues.
  3. Improving critical and creative thought in accordance with Sharia criteria.
  4. Enhancing the research skills for students using original sources and references in Islamic Sharia.

Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements:

  1. The minimum grade of General Secondary Certificate (Tawjihi) is 80% for the fields of pharmacy, civil engineering and architecture for the scientific branch, 75% for the Sharia, 65% for law, 60% for all other specializations at Amman Arab University
  2. This acceptance is subject to the capacity of the specialization specified by the Jordanian Accreditation Authority if it so permits.
  3. The University may accept a number of non-Jordanian students except from The minimum grade of General Secondary Certificate (Tawjihi)  by a percentage determined by the Higher Education Council of the total absorptive capacity of each specialization.
Documents Required for Registration:
  1. General Secondary Certificate stamped by the Ministry of Higher Education
  2. Copy of Passport
  3. Copy of Army Service Book for Jordanian male students
  4. Personal photo
  5. Admission depends on the number of vacancies for those transferring from other universities and those who have a two-year diploma and want to complete a Bachelor's degree
