About Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute
Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute was originally founded in 1930 as the Bukhara Higher Pedagogical Institute. On March 15, 1992, in accordance with a Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the institute was granted university status.
Pursuant to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 27, 2020 (No. PQ-4623) “On measures for the further development of pedagogical education”, and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 6, 2021 (No. 188), pedagogical education programmes of Bukhara State University were reorganized, resulting in the establishment of the Pedagogical Institute of Bukhara State University on the basis of undergraduate and graduate programmes.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21, 2022 (No. PQ-289) “On measures to improve the quality of pedagogical education and further develop the activities of higher education institutions training pedagogical personnel”, Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute has continued its activities as an independent higher education institution.
Admission to the institute is conducted in accordance with quotas approved by the Agency for the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
