The bachelor’s degree programme 60110800 – “Native Language and Literature” is implemented in full-time and part-time modes, with a standard duration of four years for full-time study, and is aimed at training teachers who possess modern knowledge in the field of native language and literature as well as competencies in pedagogical and information technologies; graduates are qualified to work as teachers of native language and literature in general secondary, secondary specialized and vocational education institutions, as well as in the system of extracurricular education as methodologists or club leaders and in the administration of educational institutions as specialists; the curriculum includes courses in the fundamentals of linguistics and literary studies, modern literary language, history of literature, oral folklore, speech culture, methodology of teaching the native language, media literacy, inclusive education, and educational assessment, while qualification internships (introductory, pedagogical, and pre-graduation) ensure the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and the formation of professional skills, and upon completion graduates are awarded the qualification “Teacher of Native Language and Literature”.
