The community theatre practitioner works collaboratively with particular groups and creates participatory work that responds to their circumstances and environment. ​On the BA (Hons) Community Theatre degree you will become familiar with the application of theatre in a range of social settings. You will work with theatre companies and practitioners who are active in the sector and have the opportunity to apply the skills you develop with a range of groups. You will learn the theories underpinning applied theatre and explore, through practice, the nature of performance and participation in specific communities. Part Time is not available to international students.
