You learn to analyse and explain complex financial and business problems, including setting up and executing a scientifically sound research project based on a financial problem of your own choice. In the process, you learn how to effectively communicate and how to be critical, self-directed, and original in your approach. Be it in the Netherlands or internationally, the excellent reputation of the Financial Economics specialisation will open many doors for you. Most of our alumni find their first job within three months after graduation.

All applicants must hold a bachelor degree (BSc) in the field of economics, econometrics or business (administration).Your degree has to be equivalent in both level and content to the BSc in Economics and Business Economics offered by Erasmus School of Economics.
