This program offers students an opportunity to learn, speak, and write, and also study linguistics. Students will learn how languages are developed and used, and apply this knowledge of linguistics on their chosen language in real world environment to further understand the challenges arise. Lessons are delivered in small classes to reach to students individually. Students may choose to further expose themselves to the cultural context of their chosen language by pursuing study exchanges overseas and study abroad programs. Students can also complete a Linguistics major and major in one of the following languages: Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek, and Spanish.
