The History Department (HD) was founded in 2005/2006 when the Faculty of Arts was founded. The department seeks to achieve excellence in education and research, to participate in building a knowledge-based society through investing the heritage of knowledge in the field of social sciences, to employ the historical and cultural heritage to highlight the cultural aspects, to connect the past to the present, and to predict the future.
Objectives
To serve the society through public lectures and seminars.
To graduate competitive students capable of developing the needs of the labor market.
To use ICT to design and conduct scientific experiments to discover archeology.
To prepare well qualified teaching staff to teach history in public and private schools and educational institutions.
