The History Department (HD) was founded in 2005/2006 when the Faculty of Arts was founded. The department seeks to achieve excellence in education and research, to participate in building a knowledge-based society through investing the heritage of knowledge in the field of social sciences, to employ the historical and cultural heritage to highlight the cultural aspects, to connect the past to the present, and to predict the future.
