The aim of the program is preparation of highly qualified, competitive, integrated into the European and global research and educational area specialists in the field of health care, capable to generate new ideas, solve complex problems and conduct original independent scientific research in nursing, competent to ensure the transfer of modern knowledge, carry out scientific and pedagogical activity.

Objectives of educational and research program:

1. Preparation of highly qualified specialists who are able to solve complex specialized scientific tasks and practical problems in the field of health care on specialty 223 "Nursing", to carry out scientific, research and pedagogical, innovative, analytical, educational activities.

2. Development of basic and applied science in the field of nursing, training of specialists capable to deep comprehension of available and creation of new integral knowledge on specialty 223 «Nursing», provision of high-tech scientific nursing care and development of nursing process for requirements of health care system at the modern level.

3. Creation of conditions for self-development, self-realization and spiritual searchfor post-graduate students, which are the guarantee of formation of highly educated, free, democratic and national conscious people.


The program mastering general and scientific (philosophical) competences - 6 credits, obtaining universal skills of a researcher - 6 credits, obtaining language competencies – 9 credits, obtaining deep knowledge in the specialty of research – 16 credits,  elective cycle of professional training disciplines courses – 15 credits.

Study duration - 4 years:

  • educational component of the program – 52 credits ECTS (2 years);

  • scientific component of the program – implementation of scientific research, preparation and defense of dissertation (2 years).

The program is implemented in Ukrainian and English.
