The program aims to train high-level prosthetists-orthotists who will possess the necessary knowledge and practical skills to provide clinical assessment of the patient's condition, prescribe, design, and fabricate prostheses and/or orthoses. They will address research and/or innovative tasks related to prosthetics/orthotics, set goals and develop rehabilitation plans that include prosthetics/orthotics services and determine clinical outcomes. The program will cultivate a clinical mindset based on evidence-based international standards and protocols in prosthetics/orthotics, with the goal of restoring full functionality in accordance with individual needs.

Admission Requirements
To study for a master's degree in the specialty 224 "Technologies of medical diagnosis and treatment", may apply persons who have obtained an education on the specialties field of knowledge 22 "Health care", 163 "Biomedical engineering" (field of knowledge 16 "Chemical engineering and bioengineering"), and 6.010203 "Human health" or 7.01020302 "Physical rehabilitation".
Admission conditions are determined by the Rules of admission to the I.Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
