It is an educational and professional program that provides the study of the state of public health, determinants that affect the occurrence of diseases and pathological conditions of various etiologies, ways to improve health, and its promotion. The program promotes the formation of a specialist capable of solving complex tasks and problems in the field of public health, monitoring the determinants that affect health, assessing risks and planning adequate actions to address them. The knowledge and skills gained by specialists in comprehensive assessment and monitoring of public health, the environment, and the determinants of infectious and non-communicable diseases will allow them to develop and implement public health programs and strategies to maintain public health at the territorial, regional, and national levels.
The educational and professional program provides for the development of such methods as a comprehensive epidemiological method, demographic, statistical, sociological, medical and statistical, expert evaluation, structural and logical analysis, economic analysis, modeling, quantitative and qualitative research methods.
A compulsory component of the program is an educational and scientific internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and information and analytical centers.
After graduation from the educational and professional program, the Master of Public Health can continue their studies at the third educational and scientific level of higher educationProgramme overview
