The implementation of the educational and scientific program "Pharmacy" at I. Ya. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine began on the basis of the decision of the Licensing Commission of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (protocol No. 9/2 dated 23.06.2016). T he features of this program are using of modern scientific knowledge in the field of pharmacy and the principles of evidence-based medicine, the formation of specialists with a new style thinking, capable of generating innovative proposals and conducting systematic research in the relevant areas of pharmaceutical science, ensuring that applicants master the methodology of pedagogy and acquire research competencies, as well as the possibility of their participation in international academic mobility programs.
The goals of this program are consistent with the mission and vision of the university, strategic tasks of its development, policy and goals in the field of quality, as well as the concept of development of the university for 2023-2028.
It should be noted that post-graduate students majoring in 226 Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, who represent the interests of higher education students, must participate in the development and improvement of the program.
The content of the program is discussed annually with potential employers who are interested in training modern specialists for the pharmaceutical industry and higher education institutions of Ukraine.
The program results according to the program correspond to the current trends in the development of world pharmacy and the labor market. A graduate of this program is a specialist who is able to solve complex professional tasks and problems characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements, able to carry out his activities in accordance with new challenges and needs.

Admission Requirements
According to the Admission Procedure, admission to the educational and scientific program is based on a master's/specialist's diploma without taking into account the grades attached to the diploma.
The minimum score of the Unified entrance exam for submitting an application is 100 points in a foreign language and 160 in general academic competence test. The minimum score for internal tests, which allows participation in the competition, is 130 in a foreign language and in a specialty.
