About Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University

I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University is the place where our country’s tomorrow is born and its future becomes a reality. The University is a modern medical school, dedicated to offering every opportunity for academic, scholastic, athletic, and personal development of its students. Given the demands and challenges of today, our mission is to ensure a high standard of academic process, such as the implementation of innovative teaching approaches, utilization of the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques, and use of modern medical equipment to train future doctors, pharmacists and nurses. We strive to prepare highly skilled health workers people could trust with their lives. The University is a true temple of science and a forge of medical professionals. Its team of dedicated specialists aspires to share their knowledge and expertise with the younger generation, strengthening the status of TNMU as one of the most respected academic and research institutions in Ukraine. A number of international research and academic projects have already been launched at the university and we are open for further cooperation with world partners. TNMU is dedicated to development of fundamental and applied research in biomedical sciences, pharmacology and public health, conducting innovative studies and implementing of science-based knowledge into medical practice; offering high-tech research-backed health care and developing new diagnostic and treatment approaches as required by the Ukrainian health care system; ensuring the highest ethical and professional standards in all activities. TNMU is committed to ensuring a quality working environment for its faculty and staff, creating opportunities for their professional advancement, academic leadership and personal expression; fostering in the students personal growth, professional development, cultural and spiritual pursuits, and opportunities to shape their academic path to shape highly educated, independent and dedicated professionals.
