The Luiss Single-Cycle Master’s Degree in Law provides a comprehensive legal education, preparing students to operate across different areas of law and address complex issues in both national and international contexts.
The programme combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical skills in legal reasoning, interpretation, negotiation and problem-solving. Teaching encourages active participation through case studies, mock trials, negotiations, legal clinics and interaction with academics, professionals and representatives from institutions and businesses.
The five-year study plan covers the main areas of law, including civil, criminal, constitutional, administrative, commercial, international, European and labour law. During the first three and a half years, students build a comprehensive foundation in the core legal disciplines and progressively develop the ability to interpret legislation, formulate legal arguments and apply their knowledge to real-world cases.
In the final year and a half, students can personalise their study path by choosing one of nine profiles. These include specialised courses, some of which are taught in English, with a strong practical and experiential approach. The programme develops a critical and interdisciplinary perspective, preparing students to understand how law responds to transformations in society, the economy and technology.
