Masters

The College of Engineering offers both a Masters of Engineering degree and a Graduate Certificate in Hybrid Electric Drive Vehicle Engineering. These programs provide students with advanced knowledge of the design, calibration, and operating characteristics of electric drive and hybrid drive vehicles. The light vehicle industry is facing a shortage of engineering talent needed to retool for the use of electric drives as the primary source of motive power. Both programs are designed, with support from both the US Department of Energy and the State of Michigan, to address these educational needs. Students may apply the credits earned for the certificate toward a graduate degree at Michigan Tech.
