The Transportation and Road Engineer concentration in the Civil Engineering Study Program at Nusa Putra University is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the planning, management, and construction of transportation systems and highway infrastructure. Students will learn road engineering techniques, material selection, road geometric design, and efficient and sustainable pavement analysis methods.
In this concentration, students will be taught how to design a safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation network, as well as how to utilize the latest technology in road planning and maintenance. Other main focuses include the study of road pavements, both flexible pavements (asphalt) and rigid pavements (concrete), so that they are able to meet the needs of ever-growing traffic.
