The Doctoral Program in Architecture, Built environment and Construction Engineering (ABC-PhD) is the Doctoral Program of the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering (ABC), Politecnico di Milano. 
ABC-PhD is one of the most multidisciplinary PhD programs in Italy, encompassing about 20 different scientific sectors. While this document is being drafted, ABC-PhD is home to more than 180 PhD students, distributed among the five strategic research fields of the Department: 
1. Sustainability: decarbonised, resilient, adaptative and regenerative Built Environment. 
2. Twin transition: competitive, digitalised and circular value chain for construction industry and built environment. 
3. Well-being: safe, secure, inclusive and healthy Built Environment. 
4. Advanced products: Advanced materials and components, clean tech, and innovative manufacturing and construction technologies/processes. 
5. Conservation: Science and management of cultural heritage.

Only candidates who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:


Have obtained a Master’s degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Italy (or an equivalent qualification valid for PhD admission) with a minimum grade of 95/110 or 86/100;

For foreign qualifications, the minimum average grade for exams is indicated in the appendix of the call for applications. For countries not included in this table, the evaluation will be entrusted directly to the evaluation committee.
