The department's mission is t o achieve teaching and research excellence through commitment to the recent technology and to provide pharmacists fully aware of Pharmacognosy. Goals:
Graduation of pharmacists familiar with sophisticated therapeutic approaches and the latest scientific methods.
Provide students with the skills of testing and analysis of natural products through high technologically equipped laboratories.
Documenting the folk medicine in the surrounding region and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general.
Dissemination of the health awareness for the optimal use of natural medicinal products to the community.
