Prospect students should have following qualifications: Holding at least a master’s degree or equivalent from domestic or overseas educational institutions accredited by the Thammasat University Council and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or equivalent. Admission is determined by applicants’ academic records, supporting documentation on other selection criteria, a written statement of purpose, samples of written works, and results from an interview.

Thammasat offers graduate degree programs in all fields, covering sociology, humanities, science and technology, and health sciences, in Thai, bilingual and international programs.

There are two types of lecture sessions: normal programs in office hours and special programs in the evenings or on weekends.

Students on master’s degree programs can pursue their own interests in research-oriented programs. Students are required to complete a “thesis” to contribute to a new body of knowledge or conduct a specialized study in their industries or careers.

The doctorate degree programs encourage students to conduct a “dissertation” research contributing to the country’s development and new technologies.
