The Faculty of English Language has designed specific programs taking into consideration market demands from local, regional, and global development trends and labor market demands. The program is designed based on the most important factors and measurable indicators of the need for economic development and new job opportunities in the local and international markets.
Input sources to design the English Language program were taken starting from the National Employment Strategy and the National Economic Development Plan as well as the views of private business in Kosovo. The process of designing the programs also took into account the creation of modern infrastructure and the selection of academic staff with excellent experience and knowledge in the field of the English Language. In this case, new infrastructure has been built, the existing infrastructure has been renovated, the technology for proactive learning has been modernized on the electronic platform “Moodle” and the learning environment has been equipped with necessary tools and adequate books for modern professional study.
The English Language Program is a program accredited by international experts in the field of English Language and Literature, as well as by the Accreditation Agency of the Republic of Kosovo for the period 2021-2024.
Accreditation is a process that has the task of identifying whether the programs are adequate, meet all national and international academic norms and standards, and that they are necessary programs for economic development and the labor market.
The main goals of the program are:
To prepare students to build a career in the field of their profession in the public, private and non-governmental sector;
To offer a series of modules that cover the foundations of knowledge to approach professions that are more or less related to the sphere of education and culture;
Enable acquisition of research skills and experience for language and literature in public, private and other organizations;
To develop the concept of critical thinking in students;

Consequently, knowledge, skills, practice, and responsibilities are the main points on which our results and expectations are based. This means incorporating facts, principles, processes, and thinking skills. Second, they will be able to follow a set of practices and thinking skills to take responsibility for applying knowledge in practice and completing the tasks required of them. This will be enabled through the use of information on the selection of methods and materials as well as their proper application.
Finally, they must be able to take responsibility for their tasks to achieve the desired results at this level.
