The Master’s degree programme offers a comprehensive view of the environment, key to modern naturalists, by combining theoretical knowledge with high-level scientific and practical training. Students will acquire advanced skills in the system analysis of the natural environment in a changing climate and will learn how to master the scientific method for research in natural sciences, the modern tools for environmental monitoring (e.g. remote sensing), data acquisition and statistical data analysis and storage, the principles and techniques of geological, floristic and faunistic investigation, and the methods for environmental impact assessments.

Bachelor diploma (or equivalent):

  • A minimum three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Science and Technologies or related subjects with proven skills in Mathematics and Informatics, Physics, General, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Life Sciences (Botany, Ecology, Zoology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Genetics etc.), Earth Sciences (Geology, Paleontology, Mineralogy, Geomorphology, Petrography, etc.) and related European Union Law.
  • Additional entry requirements: Entry title and GPA
  • English: B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent

Entry requirements for Italian-taught Bachelor's degrees are usually assessed through a written test. For the English-taught degree programme in Medicine and Surgery, IMAT test is required.

LAUREA - BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Provides a solid background in general methods and content, as well as in specific professional skills.

Admission requirements: at least 12 years of prior education.
Leads to: Master's degree; 1st level lifelong learning course.
Duration: 3 years - 180 ECTS


LAUREA MAGISTRALE A CICLO UNICO
(SINGLE-CYCLE DEGREE)
Ensures advanced training for regulated professions (e.g. medicine and surgery, veterinary medicine, pharmacology) and activities requiring a high level of specialisation.

Programmes in: Medicine and Surgery (available also in English), Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Techniques, Law, Building Engineering and Architecture, and Primary Teacher Education

Admission requirements: at least 12 years of prior education.
Leads to: PhD; specialisation school; postgraduate 2nd level lifelong learning course.
Duration: 5 or 6 years - 300 or 360 ECTS


TUITION FEES AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Annual fees are less than €2700,00 and the payment is made in 3 instalments. Payment of university fees gives students access to all services offered by the University of Padova: www.unipd.it/en/tuition-fees-23-24
