Informatics

Informatics/computer science is a very interesting and challenging field, and currently has a very broad impact on various areas of life, including business, industry, and everyday life.  Computer scientists  or people who study computer science are involved in creating technologies and systems used in various industries, including medicine, communications, entertainment, manufacturing, business, and science. Research in the field of computer science drives the emergence of the latest theories and technologies that can change the world, starting from personal computers (PCs), the internet, smartphones, social media, and many more through creative collaborations with various fields.

Informatics graduates are highly sought after and earn high salaries from the start of their studies ( fresh graduates ). Why? Because employers value the skills provided by Informatics Study Programs, namely  problem-solving and analytical skills, teamwork,  technical skills, and the ability to pay attention to important details and the big picture  of  a problem to be solved. Although the majority of Informatics graduates continue their careers in informatics, entering an Informatics Study Program is also an excellent starting point for careers in business, law, medicine, and other professions.

• Developing professional human resources in the field of Informatics Engineering and Information Systems and being able to become problem solvers and agents of change for the surrounding environment.
• Optimizing research and training through Informatics Engineering laboratories and collaboration with external parties, to support research groups according to the field of interest in Informatics Engineering and Information Systems, as well as to improve computer skills for students and the general public.
• Cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit based on science and technology and a spirit of synergy based on faith and piety to Allah SWT.
