KU's Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology degree program prepares students for advanced careers in molecular biotechnology-oriented clinical, industrial and research laboratories. During the 2-year (40 credit hour) non-thesis program, students obtain training in the use and application of cutting edge methodologies and instrumentation as well as critical thinking, trouble shooting, and communication skills. The application of these skills to research and development is emphasized. The innovative curriculum is structured to provide broad-based knowledge and hands-on experience through coursework and practice performed in biotechnology settings.
