If you want to study engineering, but haven’t completed the prerequisites, this program is your pathway to an engineering degree. It also allows you to explore the different areas of engineering before deciding on a specialty.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Flexible Entry) (Honours) allows you to complete first year engineering courses while catching up on the required mathematics prerequisite(s) in your first year of study. You’ll then transfer into your preferred engineering specialisation with up to one year of credit.

If you do meet the prerequisite requirements, you can still choose this program – it’s the ideal choice if you’re unsure which area of engineering you’d like to specialise in. With options in civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, this program gives you the chance to experience the different disciplines before deciding which degree you’d like to pursue at the end of your first year.

On-campus teaching for this program is based at the Mawson Lakes campus. Only 20 minutes from the city centre with easy parking. The Mawson Lakes campus is also accessible by bus and train with the Mawson Lakes train station only a short walk.
