- UniSQ's Master of Education (Guidance, Counselling and Careers) is ideal for educators, counsellors, trainers and other interested professionals, wishing to extend their career as a guidance officer, guidance counsellor, school counsellor or careers advisor.
- You will have the opportunity to study in the areas of educational counselling; child abuse and neglect; wellbeing promotion; dysregulation in social and emotional learning and wellbeing of children and young people; counselling practicum; and individual assessment.
- Develop your expertise in career development and career self-management, learning more about the relevance of career development in education and the contemporary world of work.

- This specialisation does not qualify you for teacher registration in Queensland. You can qualify for teacher registration in Queensland with the Master of Learning and Teaching (Early Years), Master of Learning and Teaching (Primary) or Master of Learning and Teaching (Secondary).

Admission Requirements
- Approved bachelor degree, or equivalent, in Education.
- Candidates with a bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a non-related discipline may be eligible for entry into UniSQ's Graduate Certificate of Education. Upon completion and achievement of a minimum GPA of 4.0, they may apply for entry into the Master of Education.
