The David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science brings together more than 90 faculty, 50 staff and 4,000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The School has its origin in the Department of Applied Analysis and Computer Science, founded in 1967, and has grown to become the largest academic computer science research centre in Canada, ranking 10th in North America and 24th in the world. The Cheriton School is home to six Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada, five Fellows of the Association for Computing Machinery, four Fellows of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and winners of awards from other national and international research societies. Many of our faculty have been recognized for the excellence of their teaching by various awards within the Faculty of Mathematics.

Minimum requirements: (1) An Honours Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent degree) with at least a 78% standing; (2) The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General test is required of all applicants to the School of Computer Science, who have not completed a 4 year undergraduate degree at a North American University where English is the primary language of instruction. // Application materials: (1) Résumé; (2) Supplementary information form; (3) Transcript(s). // For further information on admission requirements please check with the University for entry.
