The Heller MPP prepares students for policy roles within community agencies, state and federal government, and think tanks. Heller’s high standards for rigorous and unbiased analysis are important assets to students headed for careers that will use their skills in advocacy, policy research, policy implementation and community work. The MPP program provides students with the skills necessary to design, implement, reform, analyze, and promote innovative solutions to society’s most critical problems. The MPP is a two-year degree program that follows the traditional academic year from late August to May. The Heller School offers a dual MPP/MA with the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program, a dual MBA/MPP, and a joint degree with Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. This program based on Children, Youth and Family Policy. In addition to Children, Youth and Family Policy, there are Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Behavioral Health, General Social Policy, Poverty Alleviation, Aging Policy and Services, Health Policy also available.
