The UTE Health Services Audit Specialization is a fourth-level postgraduate program that deepens theoretical-practical and epistemological training with research linked to institutional research programs or projects.


In addition, it seeks to train professionals who manage medical audit, quality and control systems at all levels of health care; with capacity for analysis and critical evaluation of processes and results to achieve changes in the Ecuadorian health system.


Likewise, the program proposes feedback actions that must be put into practice to improve the performance of both professionals and health institutions.

Admission Requirements

1. Curriculum vitae of the applicant 2. Color copy of the current citizenship card 3. Color and notarized photocopies of the III-IV level titles, in the fields of study described in the admission profile 4. Simple copy of the registration of the title(s) in the SENECYT and in the MSP 5. Simple copy of the certificate of having completed rural medicine (medical residency in UAD) 6. Simple copy of the certificate of having passed the professional qualification exam issued by CEAACES 7 Academic history: Record of grades or transcript of level III subjects 8. Simple copies of certificates of attendance at training and professional development events 9. Simple copy of work certificates for the last 5 years. 10. Simple copy of cover, index and back cover and ISBN of all published books; as well as access link to digital publications. 11. Simple copy of the English language proficiency certificate (minimum A2 of the MCE) 12. Evidence (simple copies of endorsed certificates) of your active participation in: community projects, research, academic activities such as residencies and teaching assistantships, speakers at seminars, participation in non-academic activities, work experience area of ​​specialty. 13. Simple copies of other certificates endorsed by an IES: awards, scholarships, refresher courses. 14. Three letters of recommendation from professionals and/or academics who have known the applicant for more than 12 months, describing their generic skills: interpersonal relationship, organization, assertive communication, proactivity, resilience, spirit of self-improvement, practice of values ​​such as respect and appreciation of diversity. 15. Academic letter written by the applicant, describing: interest in the career, needs and reason for pursuing this postgraduate course, short- and long-term objectives related to their studies, and how the new knowledge will be applied for the benefit of society. 16. Certificates of conditions that merit affirmative action measures: mobility situation (migration), disability, belonging to a minority group, belonging to quintiles 1-2 of poverty For degrees obtained abroad 17.
