The UTE Specialization in Endodontics is a fourth-level postgraduate program that provides training at the highest level of cognitive, scientific and professional skills in the different specific areas of the area, allowing graduates of the program to perform with humanism and ethics in the functions of diagnosis, prevention, treatment, of the different pulpal and periapical pathologies.


Due to its teaching-assistance nature, this program lasts two (2) years in 4 academic periods and 3,508 hours between teacher-assisted teaching activities, collaborative learning, application practices and learning experimentation, autonomous learning and postgraduate at the level of the Dental Clinic of the UTE; all this structured through a study plan conceived as an integrated set of subjects, practices and educational activities, grouped by criteria, objectives and guidelines that give a sense of unity, continuity and coherence.

Admission Requirements

1. Resume of the applicant, according to the format of the FCSEE. (Appendix 1) 2. Color copy of valid identity card. For foreigners who do not have Citizenship card, simple copy of passport with updated work visa. 3. Notarized copy of the professional title of level III in the fields of study described in the income profile. For foreigners, duly endorsed title. 4. Copy of the registration of title (s) in SENESCYT. 5. Copy of the ACESS - MSP Health Professional Registry. 6. Copy of the certificate of having finished the rural year in Ecuador. 7. Copy of the certificate of having passed the professional qualification exam issued by CEAACES, except for professionals who have obtained the title before 2014. 8. Certificates of attendance at health training events endorsed by a IES, with at least forty (40) hours of training and that includes evaluation. 9. Copy of the English language proficiency certificate (Minimum A2 according to the Framework European Common Assessment of the level of the English language), endorsed by an HEI or a duly certified language institute. 10. Present two letters of recommendation from professionals and / or academics who know the applicant for more than 12 months, describe their competencies generic: interpersonal relationship, organization, assertive communication, proactivity, resilience, spirit of self-improvement, practice of values ​​such as the Respect and appreciation of diversity. 11. Academic letter written by the applicant, describing: interest in the career, needs and motive for pursuing this postgraduate course, short and long-term objectives related to your studies, and how the new knowledge will be applied in benefit of society.
