As a Bachelor of Tourism graduate from the UTE you will become a professional with knowledge, skills and competences in tourism legislation, management, administration and operation, in the environment, sustainable development and in natural and cultural heritage. You will be competent in the preparation and evaluation of projects and in the development of tourism research and in the analysis, generation and interpretation of data and statistical information of the tourism sector, skills that enable you to properly exercise the profession.
You will know and be able to apply the principles of tourism, you will understand its spatial, social, cultural, political, labor and economic dimensions. You will know the national and international legal framework that regulates tourist activities. You will develop skills in evaluating the environmental impacts generated by tourism from a sustainable development approach. You will be able to manage the tourist territory in accordance with the principles of sustainability and you will understand the functioning of destinations, tourist structures and their sectors at a national and global level.
