The Nursing Practice (Adult) course provides students with the essential skills and internationally recognised qualification needed to work as a caring, committed, competent and compassionate healthcare professional all over the world. This course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the course curriculum reflects the core values of the NHS. This programme is supported by an innovative Practice Engagement Model. Students will spend half of the study time gaining real-world experience in NHS placements at hospital and community-based settings across two counties. Staffordshire has partnered with the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) to offer Golden Tickets to all adult nursing students at the start of their third year of study. This guarantees a job at either the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital or the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford after graduation.
