This double degree course combines a range of conceptual and practical approaches to art making through workshops and classes to help develop students’ studio practice, while giving them a sound knowledge of the theories and practices that arts, social science and humanities professionals use every day. Arts combined with Visual Arts can open doors in the creative economy and provide opportunities in a diverse range of public contexts. This course leads to two separate degrees: the Bachelor of Visual Arts, and the Bachelor of Arts. Students can combine Visual Arts with one of the 40 majors and minors from the Bachelor of Arts.
