To meet the admissions requirements for the Master of Arts Research Training, applicants must provide evidence of the following:
- 3-year Bachelor's degree completed in the Faculty of Arts, Monash University, in a relevant discipline, including a 6 point research literacy unit ATS3222 Developing Research Literacy and a 6 point research capstone unit in the final year. Note: in order to undertake this 6 point Developing Research Literacy unit, students must do a pre- or co-requisite with a research capstone unit. Students must achieve a minimum 75% average in their majors, and 75% for the two research and discipline capstone units, or
- A Bachelor's degree with at least Second Class Honours - Upper or its international equivalent, or
- A combination of qualifications, research publications and/or at least two years of documented professional experience related to the field of study that may be assessed as equivalent to paragraph (2), or
- Another degree with a significant research/thesis component that may be assessed as equivalent to paragraph (2)
