Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Music offers two very distinct areas of study that allows students to combine the expertise, skills and knowledge of a law degree with training in the entertainment and music industries. Students can nourish their creative side, while also testing their capacity for clear thinking by combining music with the study of law. Students can specialize in music performance, composition, creative music technology or ethnomusicology and musicology. The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) course is a specialist course that develops through themes: legal methodology and legal practice; public law; and private law. The specialised knowledge and advanced skills are imparted in later year elective units, including a final year project involving intensive research and writing. The Bachelor of Music is a specialist course that develops through the themes of Music specialist study, Music theory and ear training, and Music context study.
