The Master of Public Policy is a multidisciplinary course which builds practical knowledge and skills for international professionals in policy making and management across the spectrum of public sector activities. Students will develop their understanding of the politics and processes of policy formation, the delivery of policy programs, and the political and structural realities that can influence such decision-making. This course combines expertise from across the university (Social Sciences, Health, Law, Science, Urban Planning, Business and Economics). Students can choose to specialize in one of the following: Health policy, Public Finance Management, Regulation and Policy, Social Policy, or Urban Policy.

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least credit (60%) average, or equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty.

Or

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) and an Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least a 50% average in both qualifications, or equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty.

Or

A minimum of five years work experience  in a cognate field* and an Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least credit (60%) average.
